Kumon Sunnyvale Lowlanders sends text message (SMS) notifications to guardians confirming when their student checks in or checks out at the Center, and to request digital permission for a student to check themselves in and out without a guardian present.
A guardian's phone number is collected as a contact for their enrolled student when enrolling in person at the Center (it is also used to generate the student's kiosk check-in PIN). As part of that enrollment relationship, guardians automatically receive the SMS notifications described above — there is no separate sign-up step. This page's terms are shown to guardians at enrollment.
You do not need to take any action to enroll your student or to use any Center service. You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP, without affecting your student's enrollment or any other service.
Up to 2 messages per school day (typically one per check-in and one per check-out), plus occasional permission-request or announcement messages.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from these notifications. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask the front desk to update or remove your contact information.
